Today, the weather is sunny and Ayik and Umi go to the class to attend the advance english engineering class. It is the third week of the advance english engineering. The students talk the story of the lion king which have been watched by them. It's so fun to share something with friends. It seems they are ready to present the review of the lion king in front the class. But before i tell what happens in the class I will tell you the story of The Lion King. Here it is the story of The Lion King.
Once upon a
time, lived a lion prince who called Simba, is born in Africa and the animals
of the Pride Lands pay tribute. His Father is the king of animal who known as
King Mufasa and his mother is known as Queen Sarabi. Simba also has a cruel
uncle who named scar who want to become a king instead of his brother, King
Mufasa and he want to see his own brother and his son die and will rule out of
the Pride Lands.
One day Simba
is told by his father, King Mufasa, that when Mufasa dies, Simba will become
King of the Pride Lands. Later when Simba meet his uncle Scar, Scar told him
that there is a awesome place near that land which called the elephant
graveyard. Feeling curious Simba asks Nala and accompanied with Zazu, a bird
who served the lion king’s family go to that place. Without knowing it is his
uncle trap to kill Simba, they go to hyena’s territory. They almost killed by
hyenas but King Mufasa comes in time to rescue them.
Simba's Uncle,
Scar would have been king after Mufasa had Mufasa not had a child. Fuelled by
rage because his previous plan to kill Simba was failed, Scar plots to kill
Mufasa and Simba so he is able to take over the throne. He uses the hyenas to
cause a stampede through the canyon where Mufasa and Simba are, and personally
ensures Mufasa falls to his death. Before King Mufasa Died, he asked help from
his brother but he throws his own brother into the stampede and falls to his
death.
But somehow
Simba survives so Scar implies that the stampede was Simba's fault and that the
pride will blame him. Without knowing anything Simba flees the Pride Lands
meaning never to return home. Simba doesn’t know if his own uncle who kills the
lion king, King Mufasa, and blame himself for his own father death. Then, his
uncle, scar becomes a king and work closely with Hyne replace the king Mufasa.
Later Simba is
found, collapsed with exhaustion. A Meerkat and Warthog find the unconscious
Simba and rescue him.Later Simba with Timon the Meerkat, and Pumbaa the
Warthog, and the trio become fast friends. Simba Learned a valuable lesson from
Timon and Pumbaa “Hakuna Matata” or it means no worries.
Simba stays
with them well into adulthood until his childhood friend, Nala, hunting beyond
the Pride Lands that herds had deserted under Scar's mismanagement stumbles
upon Simba's new home. Astonished to find him alive, she begs him to return to
the Pride Lands, where Scar has reigned as King for years, and ruined
everything. All of the animals will starve if Simba does not return.
Simba actually
doesn’t want to face her past when he blames himself for letting his father’s
death. Suddenly a monkey which called Rafiki comes to Simba and tell him that
he know his father, King Mufasa. Rafiki lead Simba to some place that he can
see his reflection in the water. He realizes that his father always stays in
Simba Body. Being inspired of his brave father, Simba want to go home to take
the throne.
Later Simba
arrives at his grown home, the Pride Lands with Nala, Timon, and pumbaa. Turns over
the leadership, pride land long into deteriorating. Many animals die for lack
of food and the land became barren. The lions were ordered to hunt prey and deliver
results to the Scar. In the Scar place, Simba see his mother, Queen Sarabi is
being hurted by scar. Feeling furious simba battles Scar. Simba then considered
the king mufasa was killed by Scar, and he
denied it on the grounds of a crash. Then they fight. When sandwiched Scar, Simba
told his uncle to admit his mistake, because he had killed his father, King Mufasa
is not him. And when his uncle admit Scar, Simba getting angry. Then they fought
back, with the help of his friend and The Lions.
When the Scar less
and let off the hook, he just hit back Simba then fell out of his place to
fight. There the Scar was finally killed by his own friend, The Hyena, because
of his word who considers the idea that murder is their idea. Throne finally back
into the hands Simba, Nala later married and have a baby lion. Pride land becomes
peaceful and prosperous again.
Back into the class room, Mr. Aji appoint group to go into the front of class to tell the review of The Lion King randomly. The rule is one person read 1 sentence of the review of the lion king in english and the others translate it into indonesian. When the group finishes translate in Indonesian the translator must continue 1 sentence again in english.
When Ayik's group appointed by Mr. Aji after he asks the student who is like to drink coffee and simultaneously the class answer Ayik, so Ayik and Umi must go to the front of the class to continue the review of the lion king. First, Ayik tells the class the story when Simba's father died. Then Umi translates it into Indonesian. After that Umi continues the story when simba try to wake up his father but it pointless and As usual Ayik translates it.
Ayik and Umi think that it is the lectures today is so fun. There are some fun moment when some students go to the front of class and some time it makes all student laugh. The review of the lion king continues until the story ends. That's all the class of advance english engineering in 3rd week. See you next week.
