Today is the 11th meetings of the lecture English engineering 2. Today no lecture that lecturer given as usual. because lecturer have interests that must be implemented, then in this lecture the students were simply told to prepare a research plan last week made ??into a power point presentation in the classroom for two weeks to come as the value of midterms. And the coming week is going to discuss about the review of foreign tourists. then lecture ended.

Todays lecture is off because Mr. Aji has other business, so he can't teach the class. So all the students leave the class because they doesn't have lecture anymore for today

9th Week of Advance English Engineering

Today is the ninth meeting in the lecture english engineering 2. All the students looked ready to accept the science that will be provided by the lecturer, and as usual lecture started at 12 am. Lecture today still discuss about the review of foreign tourists. last week a group that developed in front of the class will tell you the results of the review and then another group will ask things that are poorly understood.

However at this meeting, it is still about the review of foreign tourists but a little different. one group read the review forward will be asked. they would ask other groups randomly so that other groups should really pay attention to what is delivered. as random, then there is a group that is often asked by a group of advanced and there are groups that are not designated at all.
the end of lecture the lecturer gives a new task to perform research plan or observation plans relating to the ITC. research plans are filled on:

This is the eighth meeting today in English the lecture 2 engineering. as usual, the lecture started at 12 am every Wednesday. every student sitting next to members of his group, then divided into 2 groups, that is the right and left. today is the day where each group presents the results of the review assignment with foreign tourists are given about 2 weeks ago. The lecturer explained that each group advanced to tell the interview process, started from the search for foreign tourists to how to doing the interview. in addition, other members must pay attention and not by making noise that can disrupt the presentation. after the presentation of the group in front is finished, another group is obliged to ask the group.

one by one group came forward to tell the results of the review with foreign tourists. visited many places to find a foreign tourist, started from Malang square, the Ijen, dormitory, guesthouse and language centers are located in Jakarta street. besides telling place, there is also a telling physical characteristics and employment of foreign tourists interviewed. and when the presentation is finished, the group with other groups competing for asking questions.There are lessons of life gained during the lectures took place, one of which is to not distinguish people from their physical. imperceptibly the lecture for 2 hours should be terminated. but before that, the students were given the task to display the results of the interview in the form of a dialogue script or voice recording for the next meeting.

Writing For Broadcasting

-        write and speak as an intimate conversation

-        ears rather than eyes

"have you  over noticed that when you must struggle to hear something, you close your eyes" (Marilyn  Vos Savant).

-        no repeat (ex. radio or tv)

Provision of broadcasting is :

·         use plain english (Not using words in english is difficult). No time for audience to find the meaning of one complex

·         use concrete word (Words should be clear)

·         avoid inverted sentences

·         thus the news should:

®    use active voice

®    use short senteces

®    avoid using clause

®    use every day expression (daily word)

®    reduse the use of adjective and adverb

®    use contractions
